Prompted to update database as some characters were not UTF-8 but it failed so decided to upgrade anyway which worked.

Part 1


  1. Site wouldn't show: Had to send [/skins/_toolbar.inc.php to the[ /skins] from 5.2.2 :: SORTED:

  2. Had to comment out part of [elf_sidebar_left.inc.php] Lines 28 to 32 as 6.4.3 didn't recognise $Item->main_cat_IDSORTED: See Comment 1

25 HTML5 validation and 75 CSS3 errors. Very disappointing as I had none in 5.2.0
I will make a new post for these once the site is working without flaws.

Had to change skins as multiple problems: Logging in to back office not possible.
Backoffice is very different; having problems getting around in it

Using bootstrap skin as my mod on simple zen plays up. See also 3 below

  1. First two posts are out of chronological order. That was due to the top post being set as a Feature Post which didn't work in 5.2.2

  2. Emptied [/media/blogs/elf/style.css]

  3. Can't use simple zen skin due to {Unknown $name for Menu::get_template(): 'sf-menu-right')SORTED: See 7 below.

  4. To get search post working updated [/skins_fallback_v5/_html_header.inc.php] to add

  5. Next to update body header. May have to make new skin
    Belay that last. I've removed my page counting mod from the right_column and all is fine for now. Working on my mod. See Comment 2

  6. Although the Front Office is looking ok I can't login with the zen skin. I can access by logging in via vow: error is Unknown $name for Menu::get_template(): 'sf-menu-right'
    SORTED: Can now log in using elf_zen by transferring more up to date file mentioned in Part 1.1 [ /skins_fallback_v5/_toolbar.inc.php to the[ /skins] from 5.2.2
