The Temple of TriflesUpdated: June 12th, 2013
Created: 12/06/13The original work was 'The Temple of Strife', but only the
uneducated would use the word 'Strife'
Generations ago there was the Mighty Kingdom of Kinship. Mighty and
Kingdom are not the words then used to described the Kinship, for there
was no power hierarchy that would need might to form such a kingdom.
But kingdoms have devolved from that place and might is now the measure
of placement within the kingdom.
That the kingdom seems split into factions alludes to the strife between
rival over the finite resources.
To the educated these rivalries are trifles and it is the lot of the
well educated to sell these to the poor. Of course the poor cannot
afford such arguments and that is at least the second trifle.
Origin would have it that growth was unbounded and the resource that
supported this was at least evenly provided. But as the consciousness
grew the small differences in this equality became evident, for the
Earth was not flat and those over the hills and around the curvature
may have greater resources. So migration became rife and henceforth
came strife.
The all powerful ingredient in this newly devolved consumer was that
the ability to measure outstripped the object of focus. No longer was
there any illusion of equality and so each small being lost it's kinship
and from this pain arose strife and a longing for kindness. For
kindness was a reminder of kinship from which original conciousness
grew. The knowledge that all beings belong to the resources they consume
and that we at least in part hold to a common resource.
That common resource is still available but not to the devolved beings
and so to further educate or better to free the mind from the devisive
arguments that resources are finite then re-education or de-education
would be a palatable layer of trifle for those intellects that still hold
to the kinship.
Kindness is not an act of kinship any more than an act of war is one of
separation. Even in war there is the agreement of the resource that
shall be fought over
De-education is to travel deep within the parameters of resources and
the logic that holds then all together.
