Place : is where something exists even if that thing is not a rational thing ~ a vacuum
Position : is a place relative to another place and need not be static or confined.
Space : is infinite place positions

Time : is distance between two positions

Measurement

Movement needs place
Thought needs space

Place is non dimensional
Space is dimensional

Different things occupy different place and space.

Different thoughts occupy no place but occupies space

Does thought's occupation of space impact, well yes.
