Abuse tooUpdated: January 1st, 2014

We have laws governing the use of others, fair-trade is a recent application, but more common application is in the protection of those considered especially vulnerable, the young, the old, the weak and the infirm. In a war this may cover such large areas that the individuals are all but lost in a storm of violence.
The two criteria of mass and intellect are not to be regarded as the only measure but are notable enough to use; intellectual capacity being more difficult to measure. And of course we cannot hope, given the widespread acceptance of abuse to pit equal against equal.
But before I go on I must make it clear that the idea of an abuser and an abused is not polarity in the sense of a structure of right and wrong but a complementary existence that is realised or avoided.
Before any acceptance of being an abuser or an abused it is helpful to clarify the notion by example that each of us may enjoy; although I see the word enjoy may seem disturbing but the word suffering is not any better. Sure the word enjoy may seem more appropriate to the abuser, but not frequently. The abuser is more often suffering and arguable may suffer more in some if not many instances. Would you rather be the abuser or the abused, which will heal quicker, that you have been stabbed or that you are the stabber.
Let's not put the dark night of suffering on such a daily reality.
