Burial on Land Page 463
Burial in a garden; Death must be certified by a doctor or coroner and registered: Planning permission for one or two bodies is not required; more may constitute a change in use of land.

Although a body is treated as clinical waste, in practice the local authority can be asked to waive this requirement.

Sufficiently deep (put under a tree - woodland burial)
Be far enough away from a water course: See Environment Agency
Note value of land and future access to site may be long term concerns
